National Ice Cream Day at the Creamery on Ninth
Apparently, this month is national ice cream month, and to commemorate that, the BYU creamery was selling ice cream at fifty cents a cone today. Also, today is my father's birthday. As a side note, I don't believe in coincidences.
I went up with my roommate Steve to get some ice cream. It was pretty good! I basically paid for both of us out of the spare change that floats around in my car. Understandably, the ice creams were a lot smaller than usual, but it was still very awesome. While we were walking around in the creamery, we ran into these girls enjoying their ice cream on the floor. They posed for a picture. It's been a while since I've been to the creamery on ninth; it's mostly frequented by freshmen and married students, due of course to the close proximity of Heritage and Wymount. It's actually kind of funny, because on one aisle, you'll find all kinds of baby food, and down around the corner, you'll find a bunch of freshmen kids hanging out. I have no idea if these girls were freshmen or not, but it's not hard to find them in the store.
